Welcome to our web site. We hope the following information will be helpful to you. Currently a two-bedroom unit is available for a maximum of four guests. We provide one set of bedding and linens for four. Our unit has a complete kitchen, including dishes and cookware, pots & pans, a coffee pot, toaster, microwave, electric stove, refrigerator, television and an outside grill. Please plan to bring your own toilet tissue, hand soap, dish soap, paper towels and food items. Marshall County is a dry county and the nearest location to purchase beer or alcohol is approximately 30 minutes away, so plan accordingly. The nearest grocery is located in Draffenville (approximately 11 miles).
RATES:$125 a night for 2 people, minimum 2 night stay plus a 10% tax.. A $10 per night charge for each additional person. Maximum 4 guests at any time. Normal check-in time is 2pm to 7pm. For arrivals after 7pm please notify us with an estimated time of arrival to make arrangements to pick up your unit keys. Checkout time is noon unless other arrangements have been made. Exceptions will be made for tournament participants.
Daily house keeping services are NOT provided. Guests are responsible for keeping the unit clean while you are here, as well as making sure it is in the same condition as when you arrived. This includes putting all trash in the receptacles provided, washing your own dishes, and placing all used linens into the pillowcases before your departure. A maximum of 45 minutes is budgeted for clean up after your departure. If your unit is left extremely dirty and needs excessive cleaning you will be charged a $100 fee, as well as $20 an hour for the cleaning of the unit. A Visa or a Mastercard is required upon arrival for this purpose. All our units are non-smoking and we strongly encourage our guests to smoke outside where sand buckets are provided for your butts. We do not allow any pets in the unit. No fish cleaning is allowed at the unit.
These rules are strongly enforced and guests may be asked to leave and a fine of $300 charged to your credit card for any infraction of the rules.
We require a deposit of half the total amount due to hold your reservation with the full amount due 14 days before the date of your arrival. When canceling your reservation more than 30 days prior to your booking date a $50 booking fee will be charged. When canceling your reservation less than 30 days prior to your arrival date you will be charged a full one night's stay plus the $50 booking fee. Rebookings are handled on an individual basis. To continue your reservation at the rate quoted please remit the deposit within 5 business days.
Fishermen are welcome and an area to park your boat is provided with an outside electric outlet for plug-ins. Please no fish cleaning on site. Fish cleaning areas are available at most local boat ramps.
We are located 1/2 mile from the Moors Resort and 3/4 miles from Buckhorn Bay. Free boat ramps are available at both locations. This unit is the ideal location for avid fishermen and tournament participants who like to be near the water without the high cost of a lakeside view.
